Thank You to Our Partners
Ruta del Jefe is made possible by a growing community of sponsors, nonprofit organizations, educators, artists, volunteers, local businesses, and community leaders who help bring the event to life.
Their support helps fund scholarships, educational programming, fundraising initiatives, route development, shared meals, and participant experiences throughout the weekend. Together, these contributions transform Ruta del Jefe from a gathering into a catalyst for learning, stewardship, and community impact throughout the borderlands.
Why Partner With Ruta del Jefe?
Ruta del Jefe brings together 200 participants for four days of adventure, education, advocacy, and community in the borderlands of southern Arizona.
Participants include cyclists, outdoor enthusiasts, conservation advocates, educators, artists, storytellers, nonprofit leaders, and community members who come together to learn from the region and support the organizations working to protect it.
Partnering with Ruta del Jefe offers an opportunity to support meaningful work, engage with a highly connected and values-driven community, and contribute to an experience that creates lasting impact beyond the event itself.
Ways to Partner With Us
-
Become a Sponsor
Sponsorship opportunities support the continued growth, accessibility, and impact of Ruta del Jefe while connecting brands with a highly engaged audience.
Sponsor support helps fund scholarships, educational programming, fundraising initiatives, route development, event infrastructure, and participant resources that reduce barriers to participation and strengthen the overall event experience.

-
Become a Vendor
Ruta del Jefe welcomes a limited number of vendors whose products, services, and values align with the event's spirit.
We are particularly interested in working with local businesses, artists, makers, food providers, outdoor brands, and mission-driven organizations. Space is limited, and preference is given to local and mission-aligned vendors.
Interested in becoming a vendor? Email rutadeljefe@gmail.com with information about your business or offering.
-
Become a Program Partner
Ruta del Jefe works closely with a core group of nonprofit organizations, educators, and community leaders whose work forms the foundation of the event's educational programming. As a result, opportunities for new Program Partners are limited.
We occasionally welcome nonprofits, educators, artists, researchers, advocacy groups, and community organizations interested in contributing workshops, presentations, guided experiences, storytelling, demonstrations, or other educational programming that aligns with the event's mission and fills a specific need within the program.
Program partners help participants better understand the landscapes, cultures, wildlife, conservation challenges, and communities that shape the borderlands.
If you believe your organization, expertise, or perspective would meaningfully contribute to the participant experience, we'd love to hear from you. Email rutadeljefe@gmail.com to start a conversation.
Have Another Idea?
Not every partnership fits neatly into a category.
Some of our most meaningful collaborations have emerged from shared values, creative ideas, and a desire to support the borderlands in new ways. If you have an idea for working together, we'd love to hear from you.
Email rutadeljefe@gmail.com and tell us how you'd like to get involved.
